Bruno Mars

Overview • Design a campaign for the Festival of the Arts held annually on the Sacramento State campus. Festival of the arts is a multi-day festival connecting our Sacramento residents and students to the art community. Events include lecture series, gallery exhibits, and ends with a celebratory art walk.

Solution • Through researching the heart of this event and how I wanted the viewers of the campaign to react, I selected three words to convey: vibrant, eager, eclectic. By interacting with basic shapes, I found that intersecting circles made them appear very eager. Having circles at different scales interacting with the mathematical lines conveyed a certain eclecticism. This paired with the very bright color palette, gave the campaign a feeling of vibrancy.
